About

Fantasy Casting has been running for nearly four years, in way or another. It's now time, for a lot of reasons, to turn this blog over the community that has made it great over the last four years.

If your favorite book were to ever be turned into a movie (or TV series, which seems to be more and more likely True Blood and Game of Thrones gain popularity), who would you like to see play your favorite characters?

Of course, there are several other features you can write for if you're interested:

Read it or Watch it: Compare the book to the movie and tell us which is better.

Looking Forward To...: Is there an adaptation coming out in the next year that you are excited about? Or are you dreading the big-screen version of your favorite books? Tell us why you're looking forward to (or not) the movie version.

Weekend Showdown: Compare two or more different film versions of the same character. Who nailed it? Who failed it?

Lessons Learned: Genuine life lessons learned from reading a particular book or series.

I Demand a Do-Over!: Was the casting of a book-to-movie adaptation the reason the movie sucked? Or do you just wish it could have been done better? Demand a do-over.

If you'd like to featured on Fantasy Casting, send a completed email (in the body of the email, no attachments, please) to ginadenny129 at gmail dot com. I'll respond and let you know when your post will go up. This blog sees about 8,000 unique visitors every month, and the most popular posts have over 10,000 views each.
Oh, you maybe want to know about me?
I take self-portraits in the car. Because that's how I roll.

My name is Gina. I am a stay at home mom with three young boys. I read. I watch movies. I also really enjoy baking and cooking, but if you are reading this kind of a blog, you probably don't care too much about that. I also blog at This is Not Your Blog
